On August 12th, 2026, Sophie Taylor (PHCHF), Elana Harte (COCHF) and Tim Roth (CHF Canada) attended the CYL Adventurers Camp Week at Lake St. George in Richmond Hill, Ontario. As part of a special Co-operative Housing Federation Week in the CYL Camp program, they delivered a presentation on the We Stand project to youth campers between the ages of 13-16.
“The message in the presentation is very clear and something that we should absolutely be talking about with youth,” remarked CYL Director, Carol Fleming. Bullying and harassment are issues that plague both adults and youth, which is why CYL welcomed our team to educate and support their campers.
The interactive presentation was well received and campers showed great enthusiasm in embracing the values of the We Stand project. We hope to see continued involvement with the Co-operative Young Leaders camp program in the years to come.
